Training and Development Magazine Article
I'm going through the articles archived on the old Applied Improv website and moving them over to this new one. Rather than doing it as a job lot, I'm taking time to have a fresh read. This pdf is a good reference to show an organisation thinking of using Improv for the first time. It has good examples of organisations which have embraced Improv and shown it has serious positive benefits for them.
When most of us think of improvisation, the term brings to mind stand-up comedy and TV shows like “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” Although comedians do use improvisation, it’s not strictly their purview. It can be put to use for more serious pursuits, and those who use it for training find it extremely effective. It's taken from the Trends colulmn of May 2004's Training & Development Magazine, and you can read it here.
