Washington DC Local Community

dc.jpg
There are several people in the DC community who are already using improv in business and others who are seeking to do so. Please join Michelle James for an Improv-in-Business Day on Friday, May 13.

Michelle and Alain Rostain, founder of the Applied Improvisation Network, are coordinating this event for people who are already or want to take improv from the performance into business. This will provide a venue for those of us interested in the myriad applications of improv in business and education to gather, share and learn. Alain will come down from New York City for a day of learning and community building.

APPLIED IMPROVISATION NETWORK

Check out this Applied Improvisation Network (AIN) website to see what they are doing at
and read about the October conference.

PURPOSE OF THE EVENT

1) To bring together a local community of people interested in using improv in business
2) To connect with the larger international business improv community - the Applied Improvisation Network
3) To learn from each other, explore and Yes And each other
4) To establish improvisation as credible in business and education
5) To see what might emerge from the group synergy
6) To increase awareness of AIN and the AIN conference in the DC area

This will be a day of creative exploration, sharing, experiencing and ideating. There is no commitment to do anything beyond this day - we will just see where the natural energy leads.

If you get lost, you may call the front desk at 202-244-8800. Driving - parking is free. There are nine 30-minute parking spaces in the front parking lot.
