Catch the Wave!

Two of the hottest business books of the moment are talking about improv themes, which provides a unique opportunity for us to catch & ride the wave of these authors promoting themselves and their books.

First is Seth Godin's "All Marketers are Liars: The Power of Telling Authentic Stories in a Low Trust World". Godin, author of books like "Purple Cow" and "Permmission Marketing" is a stellar self-promoter, using eBooks and blogs to contstantly refresh his relevancy to business people interested in innovation and new ideas. Stories and Authenticity are core competencies for the AIN community. They increase the Quality of connections and relationships.

The second book is Malcolm Gladwell's "Blink: The Power of Thinking Withhout Thinking". Gladwell is an even more famous and trendy business and innovation author/guru than Godin, and "Blink" talks extensively about theatrical improvisation, Keith Johnstone, and the power of spontaniety, flexibility, and collaborative creativity in driving organizational performance.

Check out these books — buy them, read them, post on your blog about them, send copies and/or promotional white papers to your prospects and clients. Let Seth and Malcolm help you spread the word about your work. I don't know about you, but I'm trying to save the world using improv to grow personal and organizational relationships, to bring people closer, to keep it real. These two books and their mountains of press are a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to boost the relevance of our work in the world. Catch it!
