Al Razavi

Al Razavi is the founder of Imagination Unlimited Group. He has been teaching, acting, and directing for over twenty years. He utilizes improvisational theater techniques, the principles of the Alexander Technique, and other exercises and creates powerful metaphors, simulations, and scenarios dealing with the important issues organizations are facing today. His playing to learn and learning to play approach to corporate and leadership training makes his workshops very effective and fun. The whole learning process is experiential, introspective and enhances intuitive learning.

These learning-by-doing group exercises include team building, communication skills training, staff performance, shared creativity, and conflict resolution. He provides a safe and challenging learning environment and encourages participants to take risks and find out for themselves the dynamics of human interactions and how spontaneity, awareness, innovation, and creative problem solving are interrelated. This mind-body training is intended to help managers and leaders build more practical tools and develop new strategies in improving and creating healthy organizations while managing change at different levels.

Al believes any transformational change, at the individual and ultimately organizational level, is from the inside out. And further, any long lasting learning is process-based and it engages the participants mind, body, and heart intelligence. Ultimately, the goal of any effective training should be to help each and every participant better understand the part they play and the effect they have on others both in their daily discourse and in their work environment.

As a presenter, he has conducted many workshops at national and international conferences including, NASAGA, Magnet Schools of America, Screen Actors Guild, the California Theater Education Association, and International Schoolsin Switzerland.
