Marika Kajo runs Kajovision, which offers concept development and facilitation of workshops, seminar, entertainment and experiences based on methods from improvisation theatre.
Building bridges
The main theme in earlier commissions has been the meeting point between different competences, interests and needs, for example: technology & disability, art & IT, culture & school, theatre & business world etc. Listening and mutual respect when sharing different point of views is important to learn and find new possibilities, ideas and connections. Marika Kajo has her background partly in theatre/drama and partly in interactive digital media. Educated In Drama/ Theatre at University of Trondheim, Norway and Copenhagen, Denmark, actor training courses in Sweden, Norway and Denmark and Master of Science at Lund Institute of Technology, Sweden.In the area of theatre working as an actor and theatre pedagogue. In the area of technology R&D in interactive media in PRAMnet: practice driven research in art and media, www.pramnet.org. Common focus for research in commissions is dramaturgical models for group interaction and collective storytelling.
Improvisation
With many years experience of improvisational theatre both for stage and as a trainer, Kajovision has developed concepts for “Impro in Business” as inspirational method and development for building bridges both for individuals and for organisations a whole.
