Michael Bean has a reputation as a dynamic facilitator and charismatic presenter. As Director of Synapse Teambuilding, he brings to his courses a wealth of experience in interactive teambuilding, facilitation and conflict resolution.

Before entering the corporate realm, Michael honed his skills as a facilitator of interactive learning by training theatre improvisers - teaching for many years with !nstant Theatre Co., The Canadian Improv Games, The Association of BC Drama Educators, and others. His years of experience teaching and performing are as useful in the boardroom as on the stage, combining the interactivity of theatre improvisation with the results-oriented focus of high-performance team development. In addition to acting as director of Synapse Teambuilding, he continues to perform both in Vancouver and elsewhere, often with Vancouver's ‘Rock-Paper-Scissors Comedy Creations, Inc’.

Known for his lively teaching style and irrepressible good humor, Michael delights in drawing out the best in people.
