Izzy Gesell CSP is the Founder and Principal of Wide Angle Humor, a humor, coaching, and educational service.  As a professional speaker, he has delivered over 500 programs to educational, business, health and human service organizations.

Izzy helps individuals and organizations change their thinking and the way they operate in the world by becoming more confident, spontaneous, and effective using Improvisation Theater Techniques.

Izzy received his BA in Psychology at Lehman College in New York City, his Masters in Education at Hunter College (NYC), and a P ...1/3 of a PH.D.  He has been improvising with humor and communication all his adult life as teacher, stand-up comedian, restauranteur, motivational speaker, presentation coach, facilitator, trainer and humorist.

Izzy has earned the CSP (Certified Speaking Professional) designation from the National Speakers Association, a feat accomplished by less than 450 of the worldwide organizations and 5000 members.

Izzy believes  humor, improvisation and playfulness are powerful resources for humans because they help us become more effective personally and professionally. Nationally known as an expert in helping organizations and the people within them thrive and prosper during changing times, his clients include NASA, Hewlett-Packard, Chrysler, the Internal Revenue Service, HBO, & office staff of the US House of Representatives.

Author of "Playing Along: 37 Group Learning Activities Borrowed From Improvisation Theater", he is a pioneer in the use of Improvisation skills in business settings.  Izzy is the originator of International Moment of Laughter Day and the author of numerous articles on humor, communication, leadership and training.
